  • How much is the security deposit?

    ​$500- $1500-Ask about our Security Deposit Alternative Program. Based on Credit.

  • What leasing options are available?

    ​We offer 3-15 month lease terms; per diem pricing.

  • Can I apply online?

    Yes, applicants have the option of completing the online application process @ www.arcadianvillageapts.com.

  • What are your application requirements?

    ​Age 18 or older, 3x rent, pass credit and criminal, no Rental debt to another community.

  • Are there Qualifications - income, credit history checks, criminal history, rental history, etc.?

    ​Yes, income must be 3 times rent, credit, criminal will be reviewed during the on-line application process.

  • What fees/deposits are due upon applying? Moving in?

    ​App Fees/Admin fees due at the time of application. There is a $35 application fee, Based on Credit. Prorated rent, pet fees (if applicable) and utilities fees are due @ move in.

  • Do I have to pay first & last month's rent?

    ​No, Prorated rent for the first month is due at move-in, however if you take possession after the 20th your next months rent is due at move in also.

  • Is renter's insurance required?

    ​Yes, min liability of $100k.

  • Is there a late fee for overdue payments? Is there a grace period?

    ​Rent is late after the 5th of month; 5% late fee will apply.

  • What utilities are not included in the rent?

    ​Electric, Water, Sewer, Trash, Valet Trash, Pest Control, Renters Insurance.

  • What costs are not included in the rent?

    ​Electric, Water, Sewer, Trash, Valet Trash, Pest Control, Renters Insurance.

  • What is the average cost for utilities each month?

    ​Utility cost will vary depending on household usage. Trash and Pest Control are flat fees, rates will depend upon when you lease an apartment.

  • Are the apartments furnished? What is included?

    ​Arcadian Village does not offer furnished units at this time.

  • Are there any bed restrictions for the apartments?

    ​Arcadian Village does not permit Water beds.

  • Do you have items I can rent?

    ​Arcadian Village does not rent out items at this time.

  • Are corporate rentals available?

    ​Yes, Corporate Housing is available, subject to the same leasing requirements.

  • Under what circumstance can a landlord terminate your lease?

    ​Arcadian Village reserve the right to terminate your lease agreement for Lease violations, criminal activity, and rent delinquency.

  • What happens if I need to move out before my lease expires?

    ​Early Lease Term fees apply. Subject to a 60 day written notice and a lease buy out fee will allow you to terminate the lease with no additional penalties, while maintaining good rental history.

  • Are there any fees associated with moving in or moving out?

    ​Fees associated with Hiring movers to move in and out as well as Final utility fees, and any damages with moving out.

  • Can the apartment be listed on AirBnB?

    ​Subletting, or AirBnB, rentals are not permitted.

  • What are the occupancy limits?

    ​Occupancy limits depend on household needs.

  • Can the apartment be sublet?

    ​Subletting is not permitted, per the Lease Agreement.

  • How often is there a rent increase?

    ​Rates are reviewed prior to all Lease expirations.

  • How much of the security deposit is refundable?

    Security Deposit Alternative Programs are non-refundable.

  • How can I pay my rent? What forms of payment are acceptable?

    ​Online through Resident Portal, Moneygram locations. FLEX PAY now available!

  • Is there an application fee?

    ​Yes, $50 per adult over 18 years of age. Check our website for specials!
  • When is rent due?

    ​Rent is due on 1st of each month per the Lease Agreement. Pay on-time every month with FLEX PAY!
  • What are the hours of the clubhouse?

    ​Clubhouse hours are the same as Office hours.

  • What are the hours for the fitness center?

    ​Fitness Center Hours operate on the same as Office Hours.

  • What are hours of the leasing office?

    ​Office Hours are Monday through Friday, Fall and Winter hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm; 9am to 6pm for Spring/Summer., Saturdays 10am-5pm.

  • What are the hours for the pool?

    ​Arcadian Village does not have a pool at this time.

  • What are the hours for the business center?

    ​Business Center hours are the same as Office Hours.

  • Do you have package lockers/how do I get my packages?

    Fee amenity listed on your Welcome letter.

    The community has package lockers.

  • Do you offer valet trash service?

    ​Yes, we are currently offering Valet Trash Service.

  • What property amenities are included?

    ​Amenities offered include 2 onsite laundry facilities, business center and a fitness center.

  • Do you offer recycling?

    No, our current provider does not offer recycle options at this time.

  • Do you have free internet/WiFi?

    ​No, we do not currently offer Umbrella Internet services.

  • What internet service options are available?

    Spectrum and AT&T are the local Internet provider for the market.

  • Do you have cable?

    ​Units are prewired for cable services, should you choose to elect service through a local provider.

  • Can I reserve your community room?

    ​Arcadian Village currently do not offer rental on the Office/Clubhouse space.

  • Is storage included?

    ​All units have a storage closet on the patio for selective storing.

  • What are pool hours and seasonal availability?

    ​Arcadian Village does not currently have a pool.

  • Do you allow pets? What is the pet policy?

    ​Arcadian Village is a pet friendly community; restrictions include no Aggressive Breeds.

  • Is there a fee or permit required for parking?

    ​Arcadian Village offers no assigned parking at this time. $25 fees for additional vehicle. Parking tag required. Registration required, provide DL, insurance card, registration with property address within 30-days of move-in.

  • Are there fees for using the communal spaces?

    ​There is no communal space for rent at this time.

  • I have a noise complaint. Who do I contact?

    Noise complaints should be directed to the Community Office during normal business hours and the local Police department after hours.

  • What is the smoking policy? Can I smoke in my apartment? Is there a designated smoking area?

    ​We do not offer designated smoking areas, at this time.

  • I need emergency maintenance. Who do I call?

    ​24 After Hours Emergency Maintenance is available, Contact information will be given with your move in packet.

  • I have a non-emergency maintenance issue. Who do I contact?

    ​Non- emergencies- please call the Office during normal business hours.

  • What is the parking situation?

    ​Arcadian Village offers no assigned parking at this time.

  • Is parking assigned?

    ​Not at this time.

  • What do I do if someone parks in my parking spot?

    ​Due to Arcadian Village not offering assigned parking, residents are free to park where they choose.

  • What is the policy for guest parking?

    ​Guest parking is designated near the Management Office as well as spaces located not directly in front of doors.

  • Are there building quiet hours?

    ​Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 8 am.

  • What decorations or changes to the apartment are prohibited?

    ​Changes to the apartment are permitted with a Reasonable Accommodations Request approved by Management.

  • Can residents put personal grills on their balconies?

    Fire Codes requires grills to a minimum of 10 feet away from building structures.

  • Are there restrictions for what can be put on balconies or patios?

    ​Community Policies limit items that can be stored on patios to plants and outdoor furniture assembled neatly.

  • What is the procedure for moving out?

    ​When considering to vacate your home, the lease requires a 60 Notice to vacate, keys turned in prior to close of business on the day of move-out, and a final walk through inspection to be completed.

  • Is there public transportation nearby?

    Yes, Public transportation is directly across the street from our community.

  • Are you near any transportation routes? Which ones?

    ​The property is on the City Bus route.

  • What school district serves the community?

    ​Idlewild Elementary, McClintock Middle School and East Meck High School.

  • Do kitchen sinks have a garbage disposal?

    ​No, our apartment homes do not offer garbage disposals.

  • How old are the appliances?

    Age of the appliance varies by unit; upgraded units may be available for lease.

  • What kinds of washers and dryers do in-apartment hookups accomodate?

    ​Washer/Dryer hook-ups are included in our 3 bedroom floor plans. 2 Onsite Laundry Facilities for all others.

  • Do apartments have dishwashers?

    ​Yes, our apartment homes include dishwashers.

  • What brand are the kitchen appliances?

    ​Appliance packages vary from Energy Star, Hot Point to GE, depending on install dates. Upgrade units offer Black Appliance package.

  • Does the apartment come with a microwave?

    Our apartment homes do not currently offer microwaves.

  • Are stoves gas or electric?

    ​Our Apartment homes offer electric stoves.

  • Is there a bathtub or just a shower? Are they together or separate?

    ​Our apartment homes offer a tub/shower combination.

  • Do apartments have USB outlets?

    ​Our apartment homes do not currently offer USB outlets.

  • Do you accept Section 8 Vouchers?

    ​Arcadian Village accepting Section 8 vouchers.

  • Are you located on a bus line?

    ​Arcadian Village is currently located on the City Bus route #5

  • How far are you from Uptown Charlotte?

    Arcadian Village is located approximately 10 minutes from Uptown Charlotte.

  • Do we offer discounts for First Responders/Military Personnel?

    ​Yes, we offer discounts; ask about our Home Town Hero's Program.

  • What Major Businesses are in the vicinity?

    Major Businesses in the area include CMC Main, Presbyterian Hospital, Mercedes Benz and Harris Teeter Warehouse.
